I grew up in Horringer and after spending 3 years at Bedford College of Physical Education, I taught PE at Stowmarket High School, followed by many happy years at Stowupland High. I left to spend a year travelling and was welcomed by Priory School in Bury on my return.

My opportunity to stand on the top of the world was like a dream that came true. My talk is the story of six years of hard work and commitment which led to the most amazing ten weeks of my life in 2009.
