Hong Kong is a city of extraordinary contradictions. Though it was a British colony before becoming a Special Administrative Region of Communist China, it has preserved its status as the freest community in East Asia. But today it seems that the uniqueness of this city is endangered as China tightens its control. Chris Forse takes us through the history of this unique place and reflects on its present and future. Talk length – 49 minutes.
