Monthly Talk – Constable; the Artist Who Couldn’t Get Arrested
Tue 21 April, 2026 @ 10:30 am – 11:30 am

by Kim Smith, Dedham Vale tour guide.
Marking the 250th anniversary of John Constable’s birth in 1776, the talk will provide an insight into his life and times, as well as his surprising link to a modern celebrity. However, whatever misfortune befell him, Constable was admirably stoic and refused to give up.’
